We wish you a happy, healthy and successful 2026! It is a special year, one that has started well for Bpf Koopvaardij. Following extensive and careful preparation, we switched to the new pension scheme on 1 January. With this switch, we are ready for the future.
In the coming months, we will convert all pensions
In the spring of 2026, you will receive a physical or digital letter from us with the final calculation of your pension. The letter will tell you what your pension and the pension for your surviving dependants will look like in the new scheme. Are you already receiving a pension from us? In that case, you will receive your new pension amount by April at the latest. If that amount is higher than in the previous scheme, you will also receive a back payment from us. You will be notified about the details at a later date.
You will be kept up to date about your pension
One thing that will not change is that proper arrangements will be made for your pension. Our website, newsletters and Op Koers magazine will keep you updated with news about your pension, the new pension scheme and the choices you can make regarding your pension.
We look forward to making 2026 a great year, during which we will continue to work hard to ensure a good pension for all our members.
