New pension scheme survey: how well informed are you?

Your opinion is important to us. In early 2026, you received an invitation from us to take part in a survey about the new pension scheme. Over 4,750 members completed the questionnaire, which we are very happy about! That way, we know what questions you have and how we can best help you.

You are confident and knowledgeable
59.9% of you are confident or very confident about the new scheme, while 32.2% has neither high nor low confidence. Only 7.9% have little or very little confidence.

About 85% know that the pension scheme has changed and that this impacts your personal pension. You know slightly less about the rules and arrangements regarding compensation

You score our communication a 7
Pensioners are slightly more positive than other groups. A score of 7 is good, but it also offers plenty of room for improvement. You expressed a desire for more clarity and explanation. We will work hard on that in the period ahead.

Some of you are worried about the future
You gave a lot of positive feedback. But some of you also expressed concern about the future of your pension in the new scheme. We are doing everything we can to keep you informed about the changes.

You will receive a letter from us between mid-March and the end of May. In it, you can read what the new pension scheme means for you personally. You can also stay informed about the new pension through our website, newsletters, My Koopvaardij and social media.

What happens next?
We are, of course, very proud of these results, but we are always striving to improve. We do that with your responses and advice. We review these carefully and let you know what we do with them.

Would you like to have your say on important issues?
Would you also like to share your ideas on pensions and communications from Bpf Koopvaardij? You can. This is how we continue to improve our communication and services.

You arrange this in 3 steps:

You will then receive an invitation from us by email once every 2 months at the most.
