If you were already receiving a pension from Bpf Koopvaardij before 1 January 2026, you will receive a Uniform Pension Overview (UPO) in October. This will show how much pension you receive from us and what your surviving dependants will receive should you pass away. If your pension commenced on 1 January 2026 or later, you will not receive a UPO this year.
Your pension overview shows annual gross amounts. You will receive 1/12 of this amount each month. Your state pension is not included in this overview. You can find this information at www.mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl or at the SVB.
Since 1 January 2026, we have a new pension scheme. As a result, your pension is more closely linked to the economy and may increase or decrease each year. We try to limit fluctuations as much as possible. To this end, we use, amongst other things, the solidarity reserve and spread financial windfalls and setbacks over several years.
We will adjust your pension no more than once a year. For the adjustment of your pension as of 1 January 2027, we will take into account the financial result on 30 September 2026. You will receive a separate notification regarding this in November.
