Your pension is being increased by 13%

Are you already receiving a pension from us? Then we have some good news for you. In 2026, your pension will be increased by 13%. This increase is possible because we were in good condition financially when we made the transition to the new pension system.

You will receive your first increased pension in March
You will receive a new benefit payment overview telling you about it. In January and February you still received your old pension, so you will also receive a back payment in March. In March or April you will also receive an overview showing your pension in the old and new pension schemes. You can find all this year's payment dates here.

This increase may affect your state allowances
This increase in your pension means that your total income will also increase. Any allowances you receive from the state may be affected by this increase. For more information, go to Belastingdienst.nl/toeslagen.

Have you not yet retired?
Your pension will still increase even if you have not yet retired. The extent of that increase depends, among other things, on your age. The letter you receive in March or April will tell you the new amount of your (expected) pension.
