Your opinion will help us with the choices we need to make in a new pension scheme.

All members, former members, and pensioners can take part in the online survey. You will receive an invitation to do so by post or e-mail, together with instructions.

Is the survey anonymous?
Yes, it’s anonymous. The results will be processed anonymously, without any link between your data and the results.
Is it important for me to take part in the survey?
Yes. The advent of a new pension system means changes in the Bpf Koopvaardij pension scheme. The social partners (employees’ and employers’ organisations) have to make choices about the new scheme. This concerns your pension, so we would like to hear what you consider important. Only then will we make the final choices. So let us know your opinion!
The log-in code doesn’t work / I’m getting a message that the code has expired
You can only use the log-in code once; this prevents people from completing the questionnaire twice. So as soon as you have accessed the questionnaire, you can’t use the log-in code again. If you haven’t entered anything yet, then the code should work. Try it again. Pay attention to upper- and lower-case letters when entering it. When you copied the code from the e‑mail, you may have copied a space along with it. Your log-in code consists of two upper-case letters - two lower‑case letters - three figures - one punctuation mark.
I can’t access the survey
First check that you have copied the correct link to the survey. It’s possible that the security settings of your computer or tablet are set so that you can’t access the webpage. You may be able to do so from a different computer or tablet, which may have different settings.
The website complies with all the safety protocols. If you receive a message asking whether you want to allow one-time access to the website, you can say yes without any risk.
Can I receive the questionnaire by post?
The questionnaire has been set up in a digital environment, where follow-up questions depend on a previous answer, for example. That isn’t possible on paper.
When will the new pension scheme take effect?
The legislation for the new pension system is expected to enter into force on 1 January 2023. All the Dutch pension funds are required to switch to the new system before 2027, and that includes Bpf Koopvaardij. That means that changes will be necessary in your current pension scheme.
