Please note: On 1 January 2026, we switched to a new pension scheme. In January, February and March, you will still receive a pension from us according to our old pension scheme. From April 2026, you will receive your pension according to our new pension scheme. At that time, you will also receive a new benefit payment overview.

Did you receive too little pension in January, February and March 2026? You will receive the difference in April 2026. If you temporarily received too much pension, you will not need to pay anything back.

You will receive a benefit payment overview

You will receive a benefit payment overview from us each year. This will tell you the amount of your gross pension, the amounts deducted from your pension (wage deductions and contribution under the Health Insurance Act (Zvw) and your net pension. The benefit payment overviews are important, and the Social Insurance Bank (SVB) may ask for them.

You will receive the first benefit payment overview with the very first payment of your pension. After that, you will receive it annually in January and whenever anything changes in your pension. If the net amount remains the same each month, you will not receive a new benefit payment overview for the rest of the year.

You can download your benefit payment overviews from My Koopvaardij. Log in with your DigiD.

What do we do if you have received too much or too little pension?

Bpf Koopvaardij makes every effort to pay you the pension to which you are entitled according to the pension scheme rules. It is possible, however, that something may go wrong in the administrative processing of your pension, or we may be notified of a change by your employer afterwards, for example. As a result, you may have received too little or too much pension. To find out what Bpf Koopvaardij does in such cases, please contact us.

Changing your account number

If you wish to change your account number, you can communicate your new number easily and quickly via My Koopvaardij. If necessary, you can communicate your new number using the account number change form. Please send this form by post or via the contact form.

You will immediately receive your pension from the next month on your new account number if you communicate it via My Koopvaardij.

If you are using the form, please provide the new account number at least one month before a payment date. You will then receive your next pension payment on your new account number. If you communicate your new number later, you may receive your pension once more on your old account number.
