The amount of your pension
You can find this amount at My Koopvaardij and on the Uniform Pension Overview (UPO) for pensioners that you receive from us each year. In addition to the occupational retirement pension from Bpf Koopvaardij, you may also receive a pension from the government. In the Netherlands, this is the state pension (AOW). For more information, visit the website of the Social Insurance Bank (SVB). Remember: you build up state pension only in the years that you live in the Netherlands. The country where you live may also have a government pension (such as the Dutch state pension). Ask the authorities about this in the country in question.
Net prepension
If you are receiving a net prepension from Bpf Koopvaardij, you do not have to pay tax on it. The Dutch Tax and Customs Administration considers this to be capital. You can find this on the Net prepension overview that you receive from us each year. If you are filing a tax return in the Netherlands, the amount must be entered in box 3.
