Apply for a pension

You can apply for your pension using the pensioen planner at My Koopvaardij. Apply for your pension from 6 months but no later than 2 months before you wish your pension to commence. You will receive confirmation with the exact amounts within 3 weeks of your application.

Applying for your pension at Bpf Koopvaardij

  1. Viewing your pension choices

    Consider your pension choices in good time. Go to the pension planner at My Koopvaardij. There you can easily calculate the amount of your pension according to the different choices. 

    If you also have pensions with other pension administrators or insurers, go to www.mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl. There you will also find the amount and commencement date of your Dutch state pension (AOW).

  2. Applying for your pension

    You will receive a message from us 6 months before your Dutch state pension age inviting you to apply for your pension. You can apply for your pension digitally via My Koopvaardij or with a form by post.

    You can indicate your pension choices when applying. If you opt for our standard pension proposal, your pension will commence at your state pension age. If you wish to take early retirement, please contact us yourself.

  3. After your application

    You will receive confirmation with the exact amounts within 6 weeks of your application.

Wage deductions tax credit and applying for pension

Are you about to retire? When submitting your pension application, you must indicate whether Bpf Koopvaardij should apply the wage deductions tax credit. You can still change this choice at a later date.
