Help with the final calculation of your new pension

The letter will tell you more about your expected pension in the old and the new situation as of 1 January 2026. You will see the amounts for each topic. Some topics include: occupational retirement pension, partner’s pension and orphan’s pension, and what happens to pensions when the economy is doing well or is doing poorly. Your pension assets and the compensation you may receive are new. You will also read why the amounts in this letter may be different from the previous letter.

Do you have any questions about your letter or the amounts it contains? We will be happy to help you. For example, you can ask Boris, the digital assistant, any questions you may have. Or view the infographic with key topics.

Your pension calculation in brief

Why is the pension higher in the new scheme?

For almost all members, the pension in the new pension scheme is higher. This is due in part to:

  • A sound financial situation in 2025
  • A healthy funding ratio at the time of conversion
  • A balanced distribution of Bpf Koopvaardij's total assets
  • Higher interest rates, which could lead to a higher expected pension per month

You may have a lower pension. This may be because you have only been working in the sector for a short time.

Your personal pension information

You can find your personal final calculation and your letter in My Koopvaardij. The amounts in that letter date from 1 January 2026. Your pension is changing. Check My Koopvaardij for the current amounts of your expected pension.
